Bored [20 Jun 2004|12:06am] [ mood | aggravated ] [ music | Poe - "Haunted" ] Saw this on one of my buddy's journals and decided I'd use it just because I was bored as sin. ( Videogames ) Wow, now wasn't that fun? Other than that little thing I haven't much to say today save for the fact that I believe I'm at the last 'stage' of the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. Got to love Nintendo for putting out another Zelda title so quickly, but then again I'm a sucker for the series and rpgs in general. Why on earth that I love rpgs (and videogames in general) so much is probably because they allow me to be someone that I'll never in my entire life be and go on kickass adventures/quests that are all but impossible nowadays (seeing as swords are kinda useless against let's say...an atomic bomb). Dammit sometimes I really do wish that I lived off in one of my little videogame worlds, too bad that isn't possible. Ah well. Father's Day tomorrow/today. Yet another absolutely pointless holiday created by the greeting card companies, but then again what day hasn't become a holiday yet? I bet soon enough we'll end up seeing every day of the year turned into some sort of mindless holiday. 'Next Wednesday is *Dumbass Day*! All dumbasses stay home from work and sit at home scratching their asses watching tv' or Monday's 'Lawnmower Appreciation Day'. Someone needs to seriously kick the bozo's ass responsible for creating all these holidays. Think I'm through ranting for the moment. If they're going to create a holiday the next should be, 'Beat the Shit Out of Your Neighbor Day' -Raz post comment
