This is the introduction to a story I have been writing for... six or seven years now. It's the first piece of fanfiction I ever worked on that I decided I wanted to publish, though it has been much delayed by extensive rewriting to bring it up to publishable standards. I'm currently on the fourth draft. I cannot claim the premise as my own, alas. Several years and two dead computers ago, I read a piece about an alternate timeline where Subaru and Seishirou did not meet as shown in Tokyo Babylon. The year of the bet didn't begin until almost the time when X would begin. Apologies: I don't have the title or the author's name, and my links are long lost; but that was the fic that got me thinking about what I could do with extending that premise. Of course, only the inspiration was taken -- the interpretation, events, and delivery are original to this story. Following this prologue, the main story will take place in 1998/1999.

So. Been trying to ignore the whole Bev thing for a while (hard to, when a friend stabs you in the back and steals from you, huh? I know...I told you guys I would post about it all, and I didn't. Just didn't want to talk or think about it, but I'm most likely going to post something now) and out of the blue, Meg calls me. Apparently I've "hacked" into Bev's e-mail. Bah.
Isn't that just like a drama whore. When nothing 'dramatic' is happening in her life, she starts something else. Bah.
Going to go out for dinner with Allan, I think. Too angry to even think straight. It's days like this I wish I never would have stood up for her against Ryan. The more I think on it, the more I think she was at fault there. Another manipulative weasel attempt to move from one friend group to another. Meg was saying something about someone else mad at her. Wouldn't be surprised. When it comes to people, she's just like her mom. Nice and everything until there's nothing she can get out of them. Then they call the cops. Yeah, seriously.
So. When Bev finally got her stuff when she moved out (mind you, she came to my door wearing a set of headphones and holding a notebook [Edit: Forgot to say what was on her notebook. A list of all her stuff she had 'left' here. Isn't that pretty suspicious?]) she looked surprised to find her stuff already bagged up.
Yeah. I had moved her stuff out of Allan's rubbermaid storage containers into trash bags. Exactly how she had brought them INTO our house. Well, when I was moving stuff...I found out she had stolen some of my stuff. Weird stuff. Like my brand new black sports bra and a few other things. And 8 (yes, Jenna even counted) half drunken water bottles (which the water contents belonged to Allan. He bought them, and specifically asked if even I wouldn't drink them. XD We have our own foods and stuff like that, as most couples do). On top of it all, we had caught her eating our food (which she was supposed to be paying for her own, hell, we weren't even charging her rent or for bills. The only thing I was charging her for was $10 a week to drive her sorry ass to and from work. What else would she pay for?!). So, as I said, she knocks on the door. Already, I am so angry at her I am shaking. I drop her stuff off to her, and return the movies that I borrowed from her mom. Her mom wasn't even in the middle of it, so I didn't want her involved. Hell, her mom's said worse about her than any of us ever could. The first year she skipped out on everybody at AWA, her mom called and bitched about her more than even I ever could. (Long story there, not going into it)
To make a long story short, she accused me of stealing some of her stuff. Stuff that apparently (and only for the first time) had she left at our apartment. All her PoT stuff she took EVERYWHERE with her, even if she was staying somewhere over night. Huh. Funny there.
But, to make a long story short, they called the cops on us. O.o; To let her come into my apartment and search for her 'stolen' items. Personally? What everyone thinks is that she was going to try and claim more of my stuff as hers, with a cop there to sanctify it all. Which would have been hard, because I keep all my receipts anyway. When I finally just had enough, I asked if the cop could escort her out. As her mom tells me she'll see me in court. Bah. Another load of shit. I swear, if her mom can sue someone, she will try and sue them. *rolls her eyes*
Although, I did find her Weiss movies later (which I do feel bad about, because I thought I had put them in the bag) and mailed them to her old address. Hopefully, they had their address set to forward it, because I was not about to talk to her again. I want nothing to do with her again.
Oh, another funny thing. The same night she 'moved out' was the same night someone broke into my car. Note, I did call the cops and they're pretty sure it was them. They took finger prints and stuff like that (I know, it's silly, but because we had a certain amount of money put into a stereo system in that car, they thought it was wise...prolly milking the county for money XD). They said they'd call if they found out anything. It doesn't matter, I'm not petty enough to press charges like they would. BUT I would never have done that in the first place. It's a stupid, pathetic thing. What are they going to get out of it anyway? Our car was broken down, and the actual stereo face was in the apartment. The alarm was supposed to be on, but for some reason...it wasn't. Stupid electrical problems. @.@;
Either way. There's a lot more, but not in the mood to type it all. I've had my rant, and she goes back to the back of my mind where I don't want to think about her at all. To make it all short, all I want to say is that I felt used and betrayed by someone who I thought was my friend. Who continues to look for ways to attack me, even though I don't want to ever think about her. The more I dwell on it, the more it's going to turn out to be what she wants. A world full of drama that includes her.

So. I bought new curtains for the bedroom and kitchen. Both, I think, look really nice. :D In the next few weeks, I'll be updating the furniture as well. It's about time, and both Allan and I are really excited. ^^
Um. Nothing much. Just preparing for AWA, of course, as well as for all the babies (still).
I saw my sister-in-law on Sunday, and man...she looks like she's about to go any moment. XD She's a really tiny girl, and the baby is HUGE. I might get a pic of her up here, so you guys can see her.
Also, on the baby front, Jessica started having contractions last night and we thought she was going to have the baby then, but...apparently not. The contractions aren't close enough together, and the doctor told us she is in inactive labour and sent her home. When we were like, "wha..." she told us that it could be anywhere from six hours, to six days, to even six weeks! @.@; Allan and I took, like, less than two mins to get ready and out the door when my mom called. XD I can't believe he was so excited hehe
Anyway, nothing new to report really. Oh yeah! As promised, I was going to show you the commissions/gifts I get on/from dA. ^^; So, as promised, go here. There might be more than I have listed, but that's all I could hunt down at the time.
I need to log off, though. @.@; Running to Mom's to make sure Jessica is okay. ^^; She said she's uncomfortable and ready to give birth. XD Or at least, that's what she said when I was talking to her on the phone earlier. hehe

So. My surprise came in :D It's my brand new laptop from DELL! :D It's sooooooooooo nice, and cutting edge and greatness. :D I opted against the Alienware gaming laptop, and went with the next best thing. :D We had a little money left over from the car and I was able to get it. ^^; It's not replacing my computer, because the next thing we're going to buy is actually my brand new computer, which will be built for gaming specifically. Just like Allan's.
The reason I ended up even buying a laptop was actually a fluke. I got an e-mail from Dell (like I always do XD), and I decided to play around and build my ideal laptop. Well, I did...and by the time I did, I was like, "Hey. I can actually buy this bad boy... o.o;" So I did. Well, I changed one thing. I was going to get it in red, but decided to get pink in the end. Why, you ask? Because every few hundred spent on my laptop, goes to a Breast Cancer organization. For those who know me irl, that's usually how all my pink stuff comes about. It's one of the few charities I give for. That and Children's Miracle Network.
So. As you can guess, I'm sitting here...typing on it. O.o; It feels more comfortable than my older laptops. It's huge, too. O.o; the screen, that is. And so is the hard drive. I'll be buying another portable external hard drive that matches (I can get it in pink, too XD) so that I can put my music and stuff on it, so that I won't bog down the space on here. Which I don't think I'll be in danger of running out of room, because this thing is HUGE.
Also, did you know that Dell delivers their own stuff o.O; I was expecting it UPS or USPS or something like that, but Allan opens the door and BOOM! o.o; Dell guy. XD
Alright. Need to continue adding a few more programs to this thing. Anything anyone suggests?
Oh! I'll also be getting a new screen for my older computer (as well as Allan's new computer, so we can use the mini TV as an actual TV instead of a computer screen XD). It's going to be 22 inches of AWESOMENESS. :D Well, they will be. ^^; Mine and Allan's. I'll need a good mouse, too. I can't use my tablet or play WoW on here without it. Well, I can technically use my tabled on here bc I'll be using the pen/stylus tool and the mouse it provides, but it makes me feel more comfortable.
So. As promised, I'll be posting pictures of this thing, too. Any name suggestions for it and its hard drive? I haven't decided yet. The computer's name is the WoW Computer, with the hard drive being Ichimaru. But the4 new computer will be named differently. So, I guess the laptop will be setting the theme. I need to name the new Jeep, too. ^^;
Okay. For real. I need to post this and finish what I was working on. @.@; Oh yeah...been on this thing since nine, and I still have, like...six hours or more on the battery. O.o; soooo nice. :D
